Heroes all, 1 woman and 9 men are The Outstanding Philippine Soldiers (TOPS) of 2011

Once again the Metrobank Foundation, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Makati, has chosen The Outstanding Philippine Soldiers (TOPS). For 2011, 10 soldiers from the Philippine Navy, Army and Air Force, have been named the 2011 TOPS awardees.

These exemplary members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) have experienced battle, where they proved to be heroes, and at the same time proved to be heroes in civil action work as well.

They are: Col. Daniel Lucero, Master Sgt. Sixto Navarrosa and Chief Master Sgt. Billy Benebile from the Philippine Army; Col. Alexander Balutan, Technical Sgt. Rommel Carbon and Data Processor 3 Jairus Cenabre from the Philippine Navy; Col. Raul del Rosario, Master Sgt. Maria Teresa Bitong and Master Sgt. Nelson Mercado from the Philippine Air Force; and Col. Alexis Tamondong from the AFP Technical Services group.
