Brangelina to adopt Filipino child?

Speculations that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are adopting a Filipino child were revived after columnist Harold Geronimo tweeted that the power couple popularly known as “Brangelina” has made inquiries to Hospicio de San Jose.

Geronimo posted in his tweet on February 28, “Confirmed: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt inquired about possible adoption of a Filipino child from Hospicio de San Jose in Manila.”

The tweet immediately gained attention and was retweeted numerous times and has also been picked up by several news agencies.

Rumors of Brangelina trying to adopt a Filipino child first surfaced in 2009, saying that Jolie arrived in Manila on a chartered plane while working on her movie Salt.

The couple has six children including son Maddox, now nine, from Cambodia, who was adopted in 2002; Zahara, now six, from Ethiopia in 2005; and Pax, now seven, from Vietnam in 2007.

Brangelina also has three biological children—4-year-old Shiloh and 2-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
