Llamas must certainly have gone up so high so fast in the hit lists of so many people to be so security conscious all of a sudden.

We don’t know how Llamas suddenly turned from left-leaning peacenik ideologically opposed to any sort of armed struggle to trigger-happy hawk and gun-owner. We do know that the only implement in the car of his predecessor, the infinitely more politics-savvy Gabriel Claudio, was a guitar.

More likely, Llamas’ newfound fascination with high-powered firearms, security escorts, low-numbered license plates and all the other accoutrements of arriviste power is just a pose, to be “in” with the crowd that runs with his gun-loving boss. People like Llamas don’t become like that overnight—unless it’s what’s expected of him in his newfound position of influence.”
